William Allen, Psy.M.

Therapeutic Style:

My therapeutic style is developing as my training continues. In the past, I have utilized elements from different therapeutic styles like cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical-behavioral therapy. Most importantly, I aspire to create a therapeutic space where clients can feel safe, valued, and heard.

 

Professional Interests:

Currently, I am interested in developing my interests in trauma processing and mood disorders.

Education Background:

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia where I majored in psychology. I am currently a student at Wright State University in the School of Professional Psychology working to complete my doctorate in clinical psychology.

Personal Interests:

I love spending time outdoors and with others. When I have some time to myself I love to play with my cat, lose a game or two of chess on my phone, and watch my favorite sports teams.
