Group I (Undergraduate) Wednesdays, 6:00 pm, begins 5/10

Group I - Facilitated by Maria Williams Alexander & Ciemone Easter-Rose

Location: Younkin Sucess Center, 4th Floor

The Colorful Women groups are designed for a diverse array of women that identify as women of color and desire a supportive and unifying therapeutic forum in which to share experiences while developing life affirming strategies from the collective.  Towards that end, personal growth, scholarship, and interpersonal connection serve as overarching goals for the group with a variety of themes capturing the group's process.  Common themes include, but are not limited to, the following: empowerment, interpersonal relationships, academic adjustment and achievement, advocacy, identity development, stress management and health practices, trauma and resilience. We explore all the facets of life's colorful journey in a safe, warm, comforting and welcoming environment.
