My therapeutic style is from a family systems perspective and utilize interpersonal process, psychodynamic, feminist, narrative, gestalt and cognitive behavioral theories.
My supervision style is collaborative and empowerment-based. I hope to create an environment with trainees in which they feel safe to make mistakes, explore themselves, and grow!
My professional interests are women’s issues and empowerment, couple’s work, anxiety, family of origin issues, healing from sexual violence, and working with clients who have experienced trauma.
Groups and Liaison Roles:
I co-facilitate two groups: I Thought It Was Me, which is a process group for people with difficult family situations; and Surviving to Thriving, a group for survivors of sexual trauma. I also work with couples around relationship concerns.
I received my MSW from Tulane University in New Orleans.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoors, playing tennis, hiking, ceramics and movies.
