My therapeutic style is integrative and grounded in a trauma-informed, relational perspective. I am highly influenced by interpersonal and gestalt approaches. To a lesser extent, I utilize elements of cognitive therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practice, systems theories, and solution-oriented work. When collaborating with individuals working to moderate or discontinue their substance use, I work from a harm-reduction lens that is trauma-informed and culturally-sensitive. For individuals struggling with PTSD or related trauma concerns, I am interested in offering prolonged exposure therapy, a protocol-driven behavioral therapy, as a treatment option.
Trained as a generalist, I am interested in working with individuals with a wide range of concerns including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, family of origin issues, relationship issues, adjustment concerns, academic concerns, etc. I am also interested in building further depth in my experience working with individuals who identify as LGBTQ+; those who struggle with trauma-related concerns; and those interested in working on managing substance use. Notably, I begin participation in a post-graduate gestalt training program at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland this fall. My interest in gestalt therapy speaks to my fascination with the relationship between mind & body and the role how we relate to others plays in common mental health concerns. Suicide prevention is another area that is near and dear to me.

I am an avid runner and also enjoy lifting weights. As a millennial I enjoy reality TV and high quality TV series as well. I have a very eclectic music taste and love getting the chance to enjoy nature through a long hike from time to time!
