Therapeutic Style:

My therapeutic style is strengths-based and solutions-focused, integrating motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectal-behavioral therapy, and feminist and queer theory perspectives.

Professional Interests:

My professional interests include working with clients around class, race, ability, gender, and sexuality, especially transgender and gender nonconforming clients and other folks in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as other social justice, identity, and relationship issues.

Groups and Liaison Roles:

I co-facilitate the True Selves group for transgender and gender nonconforming clients.

Educational Background:

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University, and am currently finishing my Master’s of Social Work at The Ohio State University. 

Personal Interests:

My personal interests include my two dogs, Lily and Guillermo, social justice, cooking, nature walks, existentialism, mindfulness, and PokémonGo. I also love horror, sci-fi, and superhero books, tv shows, and movies.
