My therapeutic style is strengths-based and solutions-focused, integrating motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectal-behavioral therapy, and feminist and queer theory perspectives.
My professional interests include working with clients around class, race, ability, gender, and sexuality, especially transgender and gender nonconforming clients and other folks in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as other social justice, identity, and relationship issues.
Groups and Liaison Roles:
I co-facilitate the True Selves group for transgender and gender nonconforming clients.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University, and am currently finishing my Master’s of Social Work at The Ohio State University.
My personal interests include my two dogs, Lily and Guillermo, social justice, cooking, nature walks, existentialism, mindfulness, and PokémonGo. I also love horror, sci-fi, and superhero books, tv shows, and movies.
