Therapeutic Style:

I take a psychodynamic feminist approach to my therapy work, meaning that I focus on the role of childhood attachments as well as the societal/cultural factors impacting clients’ mental health. I also have a very interpersonal style in therapy, which stems from a belief in the paramount importance of the therapeutic relationship in the healing process.

Professional Interests:

My professional interests include the intersectionality of cultural identities, the student athlete experience, religion/spirituality, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Educational Background:

I received a B.A. in Psychology from Messiah College and an M.S. in Counseling at Loyola University Maryland. I am currently receiving my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at West Virginia University.

Personal Interests:

I enjoy most active hobbies, but soccer, volleyball, and kickboxing are recurring favorites. I am also an unashamed Star Wars fan.
