Therapeutic Style:

My therapy style is guided by the belief that I won’t ask or suggest a client do something that I’m not willing to or haven’t done myself.  I try to live by the skills and practices that I share with clients – wellness, balance, self-care and healthy boundaries.  I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy interventions while encouraging clients develop a foundation of balanced nutrition, mindful physical activity and smart sleep habits.

Supervision Style:

Supervision is vital in keeping the counseling profession healthy and ethical.  Supervisors serve as gatekeepers, role models and guides for new and young professionals.  It’s a privilege to serve as a counselor’s supervisor and I approach supervision in the spirit of collaboration as teacher and learner.
