I use an integrative therapeutic approach with clients, integrating solution focused and narrative work with CBT and DBT techniques. My work is always strengths based and incorporates a feminist perspective.
I employ a strengths based, developmental approach in supervision. I view supervision as a collaborative effort, focused on celebrating the supervisee's successes while encouraging development and growth.
I have experience working with students struggling with eating disorders, body image and self-esteem issues, family of origin issues, anxiety and depression, trauma and adjustment issues.
Groups and Liaison Roles:
I have experience co-facilitating the following groups at CCS: SAFE, Graduate Student Group, Journeys to ED Recovery, Memory Circle, Living Social, and Mindfulness for Stress and Anxiety. I am currently the liaison to Fraternity and Sorority Life.
I earned my MSW at The Ohio State University, College of Social Work.
In my free time, I enjoy College sports, Running, Kayaking, great food and any outdoor activity!
