Community Gathering Supports for Students in Response to Recent Acts of Violence

In light of the release of video depicting the fatal beating of Tyre Nichols and the recent mass shootings in California, Student Life and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) extend our support to our Buckeye community.  Violent acts have become all too common in our society. Student Life and ODI acknowledge the impact on Ohio State students and recognizes that direct or indirect exposure to such violence is often traumatizing and results in many emotional and physical reactions and social repercussions. As you come together in your classes, organizations, and communities, we invite you to be mindful of these dynamics and focus on our shared responsibilities of care to one another.
