Therapeutic Style:

I hope to create a warm and supportive environment to help you feel safe to explore current and past challenges as well as values, goals, and identity. I believe in working collaboratively with clients and using a strength-based and client-centered approach. Every person is unique, and I want to meet you where you are. I explore different strategies and approaches based on your individual needs and interests. I may incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and other modalities to support you on your journey.

Professional Interests:

My professional interests include anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, identity formation, self-esteem development, and value exploration.

Groups and Liason Roles:

I will be co-facilitating a Graduate Student Group.

Educational Background:

I earned my bachelor’s degree in German literature, comparative literature, and philosophy from Oberlin College. I completed a master’s degree as a reading specialist from Columbia University’s Teachers College. I also completed on my master’s degree in social work at the Ohio State University.

Personal Interests:

I love tennis and try to play as much as possible! I also enjoy cooking, running, reading, journaling, and hanging out with my cat.
