Therapeutic Style:

My therapeutic style is person centered, strengths based and collaborative, rooted in an in-depth understanding of the biological, psychological, social and cultural factors influencing and shaping behaviors. My treatment approach is eclectic, often deriving elements from motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT-informed and solution focused interventions depending on the unique presentation of every client. I value and believe in every individual’s ability to self-awareness and change, while addressing socio-cultural and systemic barriers.

Professional Interests:

Mood disorders (depression), anxiety/stress management, OCD related concerns

Multicultural issues, working with minorities and marginalized populations

Trauma informed care

Women’s issues and empowerment

Groups and Liaison Roles:

I currently facilitate the graduate student support group.

Educational Background:

I am currently an independently licensed social worker and I completed my Master’s in Social Work from The Ohio State University in 2018.

Personal Interests:

I love and enjoy spending time in the nature, exploring coffee shops, travelling to explore food, culture, languages, etc. Spending time with friends, dancing and volunteering over the weekends.
