Therapeutic Style:

I believe in integrating evidence-based therapies with a holistic and student-centered approach that recognizes the strengths of each individual and provides a safe place to explore how to use strengths and resources to optimize success. I have clinical experience providing individual counseling, family counseling, and crisis assessment and intervention in community mental health, private practice, and medical settings.

Supervision Style:

I aim to take a multi-cultural and collaborative approach when providing supervision to students or newly licensed staff members and provide a safe space to learn and grow.

Professional Interests:

I have particular interest and experiencing in practicing and facilitating Trauma Informed Care, particularly within adolescent, Veteran, and LGBT+ populations and survivors of intimate partner or family violence. I am also excited about the increasing integration of mindfulness interventions for trauma survivors.

Groups and Liaison Roles:

I am currently embedded one day per week in the College of Nursing and look forward to further collaborating with CON as well as participating in outreach groups through CCS!

Educational Background:

I have been working as a Licensed Social Worker since 2008 after receiving my Masters in Social Work at University of Michigan, and has been practicing independently since 2012.
