Counseling and Consultation Service Liaison Program

The CCS Liaison Program at Ohio State is designed to foster meaningful relationships between Counseling and Consultation Service (CCS) professionals and the broader university community. By serving as a bridge between mental health services and campus partners, the program aims to improve communication and ensure that students receive timely and accurate information about mental health resources. Through these trusted connections, liaison partners become well-informed advocates who help students navigate available resources more efficiently and promote a culture of care and responsiveness across campus.

Beyond communication, the program enhances collaboration in programming, messaging, and tailored support for all students. Liaison partnerships play a key role in creating a connected and informed campus community that is responsive to students' evolving needs by promoting mental health awareness, helping students feel confident in accessing support, and fostering trust among students and staff. Ultimately, the CCS Liaison Program strengthens the university’s ability to support student well-being through education, engagement, and shared responsibility.
