Therapeutic Style:

As a counselor, I believe my job is to support my clients in gaining awareness and clarity about themselves and their circumstances. I take an integrative approach founded within an interpersonal, multicultural, and feminist framework. I aim to understand my clients holistically as individuals and collaborate with them to find solutions to the challenges they are facing. I utilize person centered, interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, and strength-based theoretical approaches to best support my clients in achieving their therapeutic goals. I strive to create a space of compassion, understanding, and safety where clients feel comfortable to express themselves and their concerns. Combined with these techniques, I value exploration of intersecting identities and systemic barriers that create unique challenges for clients within themselves and the world.

Professional Interests:

My professional interests currently lie in working with clients who are seeking support in challenges with anxiety, depression, relationships, family trauma, life transitions, spirituality, and identity formation.
