Therapeutic Style:

As a developing counselor, I’m currently interested in an integrative, multi-cultural, person-centered approach — pulling primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I’m additionally interested in exploring elements of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Existentialism. Although, regardless of how I eventually incorporate various styles as a clinician, I plan to prioritize exploration of each individual’s perspective through their socio-cultural background and experiences, explore values that are dear to them, and finally, discuss and work with feelings of social connectedness and belonging.

Professional Interests:

  • First-Generation College Students
  • First and Second-Generation Americans
  • Social Anxiety & Social Belonging
  • Marginalized Communities
  • International Students
  • Multicultural Identity Formation & Development
  • Eventually, Teaching & Supervision :)

Professionally, I’m planning on becoming a clinical counselor, and potentially a clinical supervisor when I have the skill set and experience to be an effective one. Longer term, I hope to become a professor and teach courses related to counseling and/or psychology, while also continuing to supervise and counsel.

Educational Background:

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2024 from The Ohio State University. I’m currently working through a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education, and anticipate completing it in 2026.

Personal Interests:

I love playing a wide variety of sports and am always interested in learning/playing more. Currently, the main ones include; basketball, tennis, more recently, pickleball and volleyball. I also enjoy trying new food & ice cream, watching anime, playing video games (mostly just Nintendo), exploring music, and I adore dogs. ??
