Asian Americans

According to the 2010 US Census, Asian-Americans were among the fastest-growing ethnic minority groups in the United States. At Ohio State, Asian and Asian-American Buckeyes consist of 5.33% of the student populations (N = 3,339), with at least five major ethnic groups, which include Chinese, Asian Indian, Korean, Vietnamese and Filipino. The diversity of cultural values, beliefs and languages among these ethnic groups may intersect with mainstream and/or college cultures in ways that are challenging and stressful to many.
